AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli, has dedicated their 1-0 victory over Hellas Verona on Sunday, to the new manager Clarence Seedorf.
It was the Dutchman’s first game as Rossoneri boss and they were made to work hard for the result, with Balotelli’s late penalty settling the matter.
“My thumbs up towards the coach? Yes, it is a victory that we dedicate to him,” he told Sky after the match.
“It was the first game, obviously it was a difficult situation. We were very well organised and played very well.
“Hopefully [it can be a turning point]. Starting well is half of the battle.”
AC Milan hosts Udinese in their next Serie A game on January 22.
