America’s dopest rapper William L. Robert II a.k.a Rick Ross is in a big trouble with a notorious drug dealer “freeway” Rick Ross. “Freeway” Rick Ross sued rapper Rick Ross for using his name as well as his image in his music career. Freeway Rick Ross who just got out from jail for participating in a famous drug scandal in 1996 in which he was sentenced to life imprisonment but later reduced to 20years for model behaviours, is demanding a compensation of $10million from the rapper. The case which started in 2009 is still being heard in court.
Also, the release of rapper Rick Ross’ album, Teflon Don, was threatened to be blocked by Freeway Ricky Ross. A week after the lawsuit was filed, the rapper responded to the charges: “It’s like owning a restaurant; you’re gonna have a few slip and falls. You get lawsuits, you deal with them, and get them out of your way … sometimes you lose.” He then denied rumors that he would change his name to “Ricky Rozay” as a consequence of the lawsuit.
We hope it all goes well for the both.
